London’s top events venue, Kings Place, and leading UK drinks supplier, the Bibendum PLB Group, have joined forces to host a charity wine auction dinner in aid of humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger on the evening of Monday 7th September at Kings Place in King’s Cross.

Champagne and canapés will be available on arrival followed by a four course dinner with each dish matched with two wines served blind. The ‘Wine Options’ challenge will run over the course of the evening requiring each table to work as a team to identify the wines served during dinner. The winning table, correctly naming the highest number of wines, will be awarded with a magnum of Champagne.

The event will also involve a silent and live auction during and after dinner offering exclusive and bespoke lots, all of which will be linked to the world of food and drink.

John Nugent, CEO of Green & Fortune – which operates Kings Place Events – says: “I’ve always admired both the work of Action Against Hunger and how they approach their events. It’s a pleasure to host and support this Wine Options Dinner at Kings Place. The evening will be a great combination of stunning food, rare to find wines and great hospitality. A superb combination.”

Bibendum Director Willie Lebus says: “Action Against Hunger is the Bibendum PLB Group’s company charity and, right now, is saving lives and changing futures for earthquake survivors in Nepal, and across the globe. We hope that this evening will be a wonderful opportunity to gather friends and colleagues to help change the lives of people in need.”

Fundraising Director Matthew White at Action Against Hunger says:  “The Ultimate Wine Options Dinner is going to be an outstanding event. Vital funds raised on the night will enable our international colleagues to provide malnourished children with the nutrition and support they need to grow up healthy. We are truly grateful to the Bibendum PLB Group and the Kings Place Events team for making this possible.”

A table of ten will cost £1,500. To book a table, or make further enquiries, please email: wineoptions@bibendum-plb.com
