Green & Fortune was awarded twice at the 2014 Foodservice Cateys when Kings Place Events walked away with the award for ‘Event Caterer of the Year’ and Business Development Director, Lucy Wright, with the gong for ‘Salesperson of the Year’.
The awards, run by The Caterer, were held at the Westminster Park Plaza on Friday 10th October and highlight excellence across the catering and foodservice industry.
Green & Fortune beat fierce competition in both categories, including major UK caterers Sodexo, Ampersand, and Baxterstorey and were the only venue team to be honoured with two awards. This is the second consecutive year that the company have been honoured at the Foodservice Cateys, having been named ‘Retail & Leisure Caterer of the Year’ in 2013.
The awards, which coincide with the company’s sixth birthday, highlight the success that Green & Fortune have had since opening in 2008. In just a few short years Kings Place has become the go-to venue of choice for the world’s biggest brands where the best people in the industry want to work.
Green & Fortune add the ‘Event Caterer of the Year’ and ‘Salesperson of the Year’ Awards to their existing honours of ‘Event Space of the Year, Medium’ and ‘Venue Team of the Year’, both attained at the 2013 Event Awards. In 2011 Kings Place also won Business venue of the year at the inaugural Visit London awards.
