We are delighted to announce that Rotunda Bar and Restaurant has won ‘Best Blooming Pub or Business’ at the recent Islington in Bloom awards.
This summer the popular summer terrace was transformed into ‘The Waterside Garden’ in partnership with Champagne house Perrier-Jouët and King’s Cross based charity Global Generation. Customers enter the terrace through a scented floral archway, onto the astro-turfed terrace and garden featuring planters of ivy, white roses, wild strawberries and the Perrier-Jouet signature flower, the Japanese anemone, as well as fresh herbs used by the restaurant’s chefs. ‘The Waterside Garden’ became a go-to alfresco dining, drinking and entertaining destination this summer.
The annual Islington in Bloom Awards recognise stand-out horticultural projects across the borough with 11 categories including Best Street, Best Community Garden and Best Forgotten Corner as well as the Best Blooming Pub or Business category.
