Green & Fortune Bolsters Leadership Team

Award winning hospitality company gets set for continued growth

Independent caterer, Green & Fortune, has made a series of new senior appointments to reflect its growing footprint in the capital, a returning footfall at its workplace businesses and a busy upcoming Christmas season in its retail sites.

The new starters bring significant experience from a wide range of hospitality organisations and will enable Green & Fortune to continue to expand as well as asserting its culture of employee development, recognition, and reward.

Brendan Fyldes has re-joined as Chef Director and will be responsible for developing Green & Fortune’s food offering from menu design, seasonal sourcing, and responsible supply chain management, along with the personal development of the company’s chefs. He will also play a pivotal role in the relationship, logistics, land management and planning of produce with Green & Fortune’s Northumberland farm.

Brendan brings exceptional experience with him having worked in the heritage sector at The National Portrait Gallery, led Michelin starred kitchens, headed five-star hotels including The Stafford and launched destination restaurants such as Bentley’s. In 2017 he was also responsible for devising the dining experience at Sea Containers Events, Green & Fortune’s award-winning event destination and its associated workplaces. He re-joins the company having fulfilled several personal goals including learning the craft of artisan butcher, a role that reinforces his passion for ingredient quality and provenance.

Baptiste McGregor has been promoted to Director of Operations for the group and will oversee its four London venues and noted Kings Cross dining destination; Rotunda Bar and Restaurant.  Baptiste has worked for Green & Fortune for more than four years and prior to joining the company worked for Yumchaa helping with the roll out of the brand. His formative years were spent with a privately owned boutique hotel and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant.

Alina Zurovaite joins as People Business Partner and is leading a people-centric strategy to attract, develop and retain the best in the hospitality sector. With ten years of people management experience, Alina is an accomplished HR professional with a keen eye on the influences and trends defining today’s talent management. She has worked for both foodservice organisations and more recently with high street brands including Tortilla and Big Easy Restaurants.

Green & Fortune operates some of the capital’s most prestigious retail and event sites and has gained a reputation as the go to operator with a forward-thinking stance on guest and dining experiences. Already a beyond London living wage employer, Green & Fortune’s independence enables quick decisions that are relevant and rewarding to its people in a highly competitive market.

The company recently launched Rose Court Events, a commanding South Bank venue with panoramic views across the capital and one of the largest roof terraces along with sizeable event space for awards, conferences, and client engagement events. Underlining its focus on exceptional dining experiences and creating an employee first environment, Green & Fortune recently won Front of House Team of the Year at the Foodservice Cateys and two awards at  the London Venue & Catering Awards.

John Nugent, Chief Executive at Green & Fortune, adds: “We’ve created a very strong senior team with defined specialisms and outstanding experience. Our sites are firmly set on growth and expansion and we’re all very excited by our new line up as we again look to raise the bar into 2023 and beyond.”
