Green & Fortune launches a fourth London venue

Rose Court Events gives a
brand new outlook for events’

We are excited to announce that we are expanding our portfolio with the launch of a new landmark destination onto London’s world-class event scene. Set to be one of London’s largest venue openings this year, Rose Court Events is the fourth venue to be ‘brought to you by Green & Fortune’.

The opening of a fourth venue, while the industry is still recovering from the challenges of the  pandemic, demonstrates the confidence Green & Fortune has in the return of live events, and the importance these play in organisations engaging with both clients and employees.

Green & Fortune has established itself as a leading operator in the catering and venue industry since opening award winning venue Kings Place Events in 2008, Sea Containers Events in 2017 and more recently the 2020 announcement of a long-term catering partnership with Central Hall Westminster. The boutique operator was also one of King’s Cross’ early adopters with the success of its noted Rotunda Bar and Restaurant at Kings Place. Green & Fortune operates across both retail and events, with venue management and events catering being the prominent sector with approximately 70% of revenues being derived from this area.

Situated in another prominent South Bank location, Rose Court Events spans three floors and is made up of nine flexible event spaces each with panoramic views and is topped with a showcase roof garden. The new venue has been purposefully designed and styled to bring people back together to meet and entertain, to impress and inspire; asserting London’s venue scene with a ‘brand new outlook for events.’

With the first events being held from September, Rose Court Events will initially open for evening and weekend occasions, providing a perfect backdrop for dinners, awards, drinks receptions and seasonal celebrations. All sales and event management as well as catering will be delivered by Green & Fortune.

The new venue can host just over 700 guests across all floors and outdoor spaces are a major feature of the 25,000 square foot venue with all rooms featuring direct access to a wraparound terrace. At the pinnacle of the venue are the show-stopping 360° views from the roof garden, accessed via a contemporary curved staircase. From here, guests can take in the sweeping river Thames along with views of The Shard, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Walkie Talkie, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf.

The service style will be polished yet discreet and menus reflect the changing seasons and will major on small batch producers and artisans. Menus will draw on a less formal approach to hospitality, embracing world-wide food trends and ensuring a sustainable approach to food is at the forefront of menu design.

John Nugent, Chief Executive at Green & Fortune, comments: “The launch of Rose Court Events is very symbolic. The scale, quality and ambition of this project is a true indicator that live, person to person events, are fully back. The quality of the environment, the amount of outdoor space available and the total guest experience will combine for this to be instantly recognised as one of the leading events venues in central London.

“At Green & Fortune we work in premium London locations and Rose Court Events sits right at the core of this. As we continue to re-build the company post-pandemic, the announcement of a fourth venue within the group is testament to the hard work of our team and how we have tackled the challenges of the last couple of years. This launch is a very positive move not just for us, but for the industry and will be a great addition to London’s event scene.”
