Green & Fortune scooped the gold award in the ‘Caterer of the Year category’ at this year’s London Venue and Catering Awards. Rose Court Events also brought home a silver award for ‘Best New or Refurbished Venue’ as well as Kings Place Events being crowned silver winner in the ‘Best Conference Venue’ category.
The gold award is company-wide and recognises excellence in the operations and delivery across all four venues. The accolade follows two wins at the Foodservice Catey Awards in October, where Green & Fortune clinched both ‘Boutique Caterer of the Year’ and ‘Event Caterer of the Year’.
The awards judges commented, “This was a large team, with a diverse and organised operation and a strong innovation for good. They were client centric with a lovely company ethos and great delivery. They seemed to have moved into the mainstream without losing any of their entrepreneurial and qualitative flair that set them apart from the competition from the start.”
Alongside these three wins, Green & Fortune were shortlisted for a further five categories at the awards, including ‘Best Catering at a Venue’ for Central Hall Westminster, ‘Best Summer Party Venue’ for Sea Containers Events and ‘Most Versatile Venue’ for Kings Place Events, as well as another two for Rose Court Events with ‘Best Venue with a View’ and ‘Best Venue With Outside Space’.
The London Venue and Catering Awards were held on Friday 24th November. Run annually since 2015 the London Venue & Catering Awards celebrate and champion the achievements and success of venues and those that offer catering services within London’s 32 boroughs’ or the City of London. Past winners include stellar titans and boutique superstars alike who come together at the ceremony which is attended by over 450 from the London based events industry.
The awards are organised by the Global Conference Network, entries are judged by an independent panel of industry leaders in the world of catering, hospitality, meetings, conferences and events in London.
