Celebrating 15 Years of Green & Fortune
1 October 2023 marks a significant milestone for us at Green & Fortune – 15 years since the business began.
What started in 2008 at Kings Place has grown into something far bigger than we could ever have imagined. Over the past 15 years, we’ve expanded across London with three additional sites, built long-standing partnerships, won industry awards and, most importantly, created thousands of memorable experiences through food, events and hospitality.
To mark the occasion, we’re celebrating with a month of anniversary activity across the business, and we’re delighted to share what we have planned.
A Taste of 2008 at Rotunda
At Rotunda Bar & Restaurant, our chefs are revisiting the very beginnings of Green & Fortune by bringing back daily specials from the original 2008 menu. Each dish has been reimagined with a modern twist and will rotate throughout October, served at a special anniversary price of £12.50 — the same price they were 15 years ago.
Guests can enjoy favourites such as Corneyside Farm steak and ale pie with mashed potato, Texel lamb burger with Greek salad and fries, and other returning classics. The specials will be available every weekday from 12pm to 7pm throughout October.
A Special Anniversary Lunch
On Sunday 15 October, Rotunda will host a 15th Anniversary Lunch, celebrating our gate-to-plate ethos and the role our farm has played in shaping our menus over the years. The chefs have created a special four-course menu inspired by dishes from 2008, showcasing beef and lamb sourced directly from our farm.
To mark the occasion, £15 from every menu sold will be donated to New Horizon Youth Centre, supporting young Londoners experiencing homelessness. The bar team will also be curating a special wine and whisky list, alongside a wine of the month priced at £14.50 — another nod to our 2008 beginnings.
Celebrating Our People
Green & Fortune has always been about people. Whether it’s serving a coffee, hosting an intimate private dinner or delivering a large-scale conference, the care, pride and attention to detail shown by our teams is what defines us.
As part of our anniversary celebrations, giving back will play a central role. We will be making a £15,000 company donation and offering 15 team members the opportunity to take 15 paid hours to volunteer with one of our selected charity partners between October and December.
Giving Back to Our Communities
Our 15-year celebrations also reflect our ongoing commitment to the communities around us. This year, we’ll be supporting New Horizon Youth Centre, Hospitality Action, The London Irish Centre and Copenhagen Street Foodbank — organisations whose work aligns closely with our values.
It’s an opportunity not just to celebrate how far we’ve come, but to continue learning, supporting and giving back.
