Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Home with Rotunda
St. Patrick’s Day has always been a moment of celebration, community and connection – values that sit close to our hearts at Green & Fortune. While this year may look a little different, we’re proud to be marking the occasion in a way that still brings people together, wherever they are.
To celebrate, Rotunda Bar & Restaurant has launched a St. Patrick’s Day @ Home delivery menu, created to bring an authentic taste of Ireland into homes across the UK, while also supporting two charities doing vital work within our communities.
In partnership with The London Irish Centre, and alongside a virtual St. Patrick’s celebration hosted with the Mayor of London and community partners, the Rotunda @ Home menu allows guests to enjoy restaurant-quality Irish-inspired food at home.
Available for nationwide delivery on Tuesday 16 March, the specially curated menu is designed to be enjoyed on the night, bringing together great food, culture and a sense of occasion.
The three-course menu for two is priced at £45 and includes a mix of nostalgic favourites and comforting classics. Guests will start with a make-your-own soda bread kit, served with pink peppercorn, chive and smoked sea salt butter, followed by a rich Beef and Guinness stew with colcannon and honey-roast carrots, and finished with a Baileys fudge biscuit.
A vegetarian option is also available, with a turnip, sorrel, barley and kale pesto stew replacing the beef dish.
To complete the experience, guests can upgrade their order with a selection of wines and Irish-inspired cocktails, including a Black Velvet made with Champagne and Guinness, and an Irish Boulevardier, a whiskey-led twist on the classic Negroni. Step-by-step how-to videos will be available on Rotunda’s website to guide guests through the finishing touches at home.
Supporting our communities is central to how we operate, and this menu is no exception. £10 from every St. Patrick’s Day @ Home menu sold, as well as selected drinks upgrades, will be donated to The London Irish Centre and The Clink Charity, helping to support their ongoing work.
Each order also includes entry into a prize draw, with prizes including a summer barbecue for up to ten people at Rotunda, tickets to The 2022 Clink Charity Ball at the Royal Lancaster, and an eight-week Irish language course at The London Irish Centre.
John Nugent, Founder and CEO of Green & Fortune, has long been a supporter of The London Irish Centre, hosting annual fundraisers and supporting the wider community throughout the pandemic. We’re delighted to be extending that partnership through this initiative.
As the London Irish Centre shared:
“John and the team at Rotunda have put together a beautiful Irish-themed food offer which will really be the icing on the cake for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.”
Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends or virtually with loved ones, the Rotunda St. Patrick’s Day @ Home menu offers a way to mark the day with great food, generosity and a little Irish spirit.
Orders can be placed via Rotunda @ Home, with delivery on 16 March — just in time to raise a glass on the 17th.
