New Partnership with London Museum

We’re delighted to share that Green & Fortune has been appointed as the exclusive catering and hospitality partner for London Museum, the capital’s major new cultural landmark, opening towards the end of 2026.

A lively urban scene with people walking and socialising near historic red-brick buildings and a modern glass structure under a clear sky. Some greenery and public art are visible, blending old and new architecture.

Following a competitive tender process, Green & Fortune has been awarded a 10-year contract to lead hospitality across the museum’s new home in Smithfield. The partnership will see our teams collaborate closely with London Museum to develop and operate four innovative food and beverage outlets, spanning relaxed all-day dining, café and grab-and-go formats, alongside a curated programme of culinary-led events.

The collaboration will put London’s incredible food scene at the heart of the museum’s new home. There will be a strong focus on locally sourced and sustainably delivered menus that respond imaginatively to the museum’s unique Smithfield location and its changing programme of co-curated displays, major exhibitions and year-round events.

Green & Fortune will also lead catering for the museum’s venue hire events. Following a decade of careful renovation, the iconic Victorian General Market is set to become one of the most sought-after event spaces in the capital. Spanning 150,000 square foot, it will have the capacity to host both intimate and large-scale private events, including gala dinners, drinks receptions, product launches and high-profile celebrations.

Housed across two landmark buildings in the historic heart of the capital, London Museum is expected to welcome over two million visitors each year. With excellent transport links and easy access to both major London airports and St Pancras International, the partnership will also create up to 80 new hospitality jobs.

“With competition for tenders fierce across the board, we are extremely proud to have been chosen by London Museum as partner of choice for this ground-breaking new museum. It was clear to us from the outset that this project was an opportunity like no other. An opportunity to work as true partners: delivering some genuinely innovative hospitality concepts, combining creativity with our 18+ years of experience in retail and events catering and our passion for the city of London.”

“London’s food scene is part of what makes this one of the best cities in the world. Through our partnership with Green & Fortune, we’ll build on the rich heritage of our local neighbourhood and celebrate London’s vibrant food culture as a core part of the museum’s offer. Whether you’re travelling here as an international visitor, dropping in on your lunch break, meeting up with friends, or arranging a special event, we want to give visitors a real taste of the city.”
