Sea Containers Events won not one, but two awards at the London Venue Awards!
Our South Bank based venue brought home the accolades of both ‘Best New or Refurbished Venue’ and ‘Best Venue with a View’ it was the first time Sea Containers Events has entered the awards, for a new venue in a competitive industry, it’s a fantastic recognition to be acknowledged like this by the industry judges.
We fought off strong competition from other new and refurbished venues such as Six Storeys Soho, Royal Lancaster London and The Natural History Museum. While in the Best Venue with a View category we were shortlisted against Searcys at the Gherkin, Alexandra Palace and HMS Belfast among others.
Kings Place Events also won a bronze award in the category of Best London Event Venue under 1000 attendees.

The London Venue Awards were held at The Hurlingham Club on Friday 5th October. The awards recognise excellence and exceptional achievement by venues in London. Consisting of 19 categories; each submission must prove qualitative and quantitative standards along with client commendations and have earned a stellar reputation from event buyers and influencers. Entries are judged by a 30-strong independent panel of who are known to shape and influence the meetings, conferences, events and private dining sector in the capital.
