Wesley’s Café Reopens with a Fresh New Look at Central Hall Westminster
We are delighted to announce the reopening of Wesley’s Café, now proudly relocated to the ground floor of the iconic Central Hall Westminster. Moving from its former basement home into a refined street-level space, the café has been thoughtfully transformed from a meeting room into a bright and modern destination, complete with alfresco tables overlooking Westminster Abbey. It’s a welcoming spot for locals, visitors and the Westminster working community, offering a calm and contemporary place to pause with a coffee or enjoy a freshly prepared lunch.
The new Wesley’s champions an edited menu built around quality, seasonality and craft. Guests can enjoy coffee from Old Spike Roastery, whose social mission supports people experiencing homelessness, alongside organic, plastic-free teas from Hope & Glory. Pastries arrive fresh each morning from Hoxton Bakehouse, made using Wildfarmed regenerative wheat, while beef across the menu is sourced from Green & Fortune’s own Corneyside Farm in Northumberland, which operates with regenerative principles at its core.
The food offering has been designed to suit every part of the day. Morning visitors can enjoy hot breakfast baps or pastries, while lunchtime brings a selection of vibrant seasonal salads, freshly baked quiches, tarts and sausage rolls, as well as artisan sandwiches, boxed salads and smoothies. Cakes from our in-house bakery add a sweet finish, and during the warmer months, Wesley’s signature strawberry jelly with soft-serve ice cream offers a nostalgic and refreshing treat.
New dishes created for the launch showcase the creativity of Green & Fortune’s culinary team. Highlights include a playful take on eggs and soldiers, featuring two indulgent toasties served with a saffron, mustard and mayonnaise dip; a sumac-whipped labneh with courgette ribbons and asparagus; a Corneyside Farm oxtail and Stilton roll paired with grape, apple and honey chutney; and a richly savoury London Smoke & Cure bacon and British leek quiche.
The reopening marks another exciting step in our long-standing partnership at this historic venue. We are grateful to both Central Hall Westminster and Methodist Central Hall Westminster for their support throughout the transformation, and for working closely with us to bring the vision for the new Wesley’s Café to life.
With its refreshed interior, thoughtful menu and focus on local, sustainable sourcing, Wesley’s Café begins an exciting new chapter—one that celebrates community, quality and the best of modern café culture in the heart of Westminster. We look forward to welcoming guests through the doors.
